FX's FXX channel will premiere an expected documentary series on at 9 p.m. Eastern Time—"Necaxa".This work is a spin-off of the hit series Welcome to Wrexham, led by powerful actor and producer Eva Longoria.
The film was created by Longoria, co-producer Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds, and was specially presented to audiences in FX and Disney Latin America.It tells a true story about faith, passion and rejuvenation.
In this documentary, we will follow in Eva Longoria's footsteps and witness her efforts to revive Club Necaxa, a football club in Aguascalientes, Mexico.Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds also helped to contribute to her dreams."Once upon a time, Necaxa was a powerful team in Mexican football, but for decades, he suffered from turmoil, and experienced relocation, reorganization and continuous self-reshaping. Although its glory appeared and faded out of the national focus, the group of loyal fans never gave up. They always believed that the glory belonging to Rayos will eventually return," the official brief reads.
During the first three weeks of airing, viewers can watch two episodes in one breath every Thursday.There will be an episode updated every Thursday.The next day, all episodes will be available on Hulu.International audiences can watch the series through Disney.
Previously, "Welcome to Wrexham" was just announced to be renewed for its fifth season.The show focuses on Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s investment and management of AFC Football Club in Wales, Wales.Today, together with Eva Longoria, they bring this passion to Aguascalientes in Mexico and continue to support Club Necaxa’s path to revival.It is worth mentioning that all three stars are co-holders of Necaxa.
