Description

A massive slab of food descends slowly through the dimly lit vertical facility, its scent wafting upward like a cruel tease. High above, the residents of the upper levels gather around their tables with gleaming eyes and ravenous smiles, feasting without restraint. Their laughter echoes down into the shadows below, where emaciated figures huddle in despair, their stomachs hollowed by hunger. The crumbs that occasionally fall from above are mere tokens of mockery, never enough to sate the gnawing emptiness within them. The inequality burns deep, etched into every fiber of their existence. Each bite taken above feels like another weight pressing on the chests of those below, suffocating their hope. Yet amidst the desperation, whispers begin to stir—a quiet defiance growing louder with each passing day. Faces once dulled by starvation now glow faintly with resolve, hands trembling not just from weakness but from the anticipation of change. Rebellion is no longer a distant dream; it's an inevitability, fueled by the fire of injustice and the desperate yearning for justice. As the next slab of food descends, so too does the moment of reckoning—when those who have suffered in silence will rise, demanding what has always been theirs: equality, dignity, and the right to live.

It's an interesting concept. Sort of reminds me of the Cube.

Loved the idea, the concept and a lot of the allegories and analogies. I guess the child was put there so she could starve and die - the immigrant one

If this movie is a criticism of communism, then it's one of the best social commentary movies I've watched. It's very inventive and bold but the ending

I would give a much higher rating, if the ending was better. Contrary to many comments here, I do not think the movie is about capitalism. I think it i
