The news has finally been officially announced: Samuel L. Jackson will join the franchise of TaylorSheridan's new series -The King of New Orleans (NOLA King), a hit series on Paramount on the platformThe King of Tulsa (TulsaKing) derivative work.
It is worth mentioning that Jackson will debut his role in the upcoming Season 3 of Kings of Tulsa (as shown above).This character will become an important bridge connecting emotions and destiny between the two series.
The official plot summary reads: "The King of New Orleans tells the story of Russell Lee Washington Jr. (played by Jackson).During his ten-year sentence in federal prison, he established a deep friendship with Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone). The New York-based Renzeti Crime Family sent him to Tulsa with the intention of a complete end to Dwight's life. However, after witnessing everything Dwight created in Tulsa, Washington was deeply moved by the possibility of a "second chance." He decided to return to New Orleans, which he had abandoned 40 years ago, in an attempt to repair his relationship with his family and old friends, and regain control of the city he had left. It was this move that angered his former employer in New York and put him in the threat of his old rivals, both in the underworld and in the police force.
